Perfectionism & People Pleasing Therapy

I get the internal and external pressures that come with perfectionism and people-pleasing. I work with clients to explore how these tendencies show up in their lives, develop insight into their behaviors, and create new ways of looking at the world that bring a sense of freedom again. Using an emotionally focused lens, I help clients let go of external expectations and reconnect with living life on their own terms.

My Approach

I integrate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients connect with the emotions driving these patterns, CBT to challenge rigid expectations and self-criticism, and DBT skills to build resilience when pressure feels overwhelming. I also incorporate IFS/parts work to explore the roles these tendencies play in keeping clients safe. This approach helps clients respond to themselves with more flexibility, self-compassion, and confidence.
